Yasin Malik Pays Tributes To Dr Farooq Ashai

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2018 ) :Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to slain doctor Farooq Ahmad Ashai, saying that he was a great soul who throughout his life stood for the cause of freedom and justice.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Yasin Malik, who is currently undergoing treatment at Soura Medical Complex, in a statement said, "Martyr Dr Ashai always remained steadfast while fighting for the human rights of Kashmiris and as a doctor he always cared for his patients.

" "Kashmiri struggle for freedom is adorned with the sacred blood of martyrs' life and hence no earthly power can defeat this struggle," Yasin Malik said.

Meanwhile, JKLF chairman expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the wife of Muhammad Maqbool Butt "Her struggle and sacrifices will always be remembered," he added. A JKLF delegation visited Seer, Sopore, where they participated in congregational prayers held for Abdul Ghani Wani, Sher Khan and Muhammad Akbar Najar who were martyred in 1992.
