Work On Nullahs Aik, Dek Progressing Rapidly

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2018 ) ::The construction work of Nullahs Aik and Dek is progressing with a brisk pace and after its completion, flood water will be channelized to save Sialkot and Pasrur villages from the floods.
Deputy Commissioner Dr.
Farrukh Naveed told the media that a drain had been constructed near Pathaanwali-Sialkot to divert 5000 cusec flood water from Naullah Aik, which would help save Sialkot city from flooding in rainy season.
The DC said that a 'flood protection wall' was also being built along Naullah Aik in Sialkot to save the city from flood. He said that senior officials of Irrigation department had been directed to ensure the timely completion of flood protection projects before rainy season. APP/ir/zhr
