Victims Of Sitara Market Incident To Be Compensated: Minister

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan on Sunday said victims and affectees of Sitara Market incident would be compensated soon and in this connection arrangements would be made without any delay.
Reviewing burnt shops of Sitara Market Tata Bazaar Factory Area, he said that a special committee was constituted under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters which was compiling its report.
He also expressed sympathy with families of victims and affectees and said that they would be compensated through Punjab Disaster Management Authority and the government would take all steps in this regard.
He directed the officers of Municipal Corporation to take steps immediately for checking fire incidents in markets of the city by ensuring protection of sui gas, electricity and other installments. APP/aar/ia/asm
