Present Govt Put Education Sector On Right Track: Baligh

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2018 ) :Minister for Education Engr Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman has said that present government has put the education sector on the path of development.
He stated this while addressing the Re-Launching Ceremony of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education's (FBISE) Website here on Wednesday. The ceremony was also attended by MNA Malik Ibrar Ahmad, Chairman FBISE Malik Ikram Ali Malik, Secretary FBISE and other representatives of educational institutions.
During the ceremony the winners of the sports games organized by the FBISE were also awarded with trophies by the minister. Speaking on the occasion, the minister further said that during the last five years all provinces including federal government worked for the promotion of education sector.
We had launched curriculum from class one to five for Islamabad Capital Territory's (ICT) schools, raised the budget of Higher Education Commission(HEC), he remarked.
With the efforts of present government, millions of out of school children enrolled in the educational institutions, he added.
The minister said that FBISE has been upgraded with state of the art facilities for students. He lauded the role of Chairman FBISE for fulfilling the task of present government by updating the federal board.
Earlier, Chairman FBISE Dr Ikram Ali Malik highlighted the role of board and its performance during lthe ast four years. He said that with the support of Minister for Education, FBISE had achieved many milestones. The students are now being facilitated with modern facilities at national as well as at the international level, he added.
