BDS Disposes Off Timer Device

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2018 ) :The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) Hyderabad has defused a timer device having detonator and gun powder here on late Monday night. According to SHO Qasimabad, the Police received information about a suspected cloth bag lying abandoned along the railway track near Shahbaz Colony Sehrish Nagar.
On such information, a joint party of the Rangers and Police cordoned off the area and called the BDS.
The BDS found the timer device from the bag and later defused it successfully. The Incharge BDS Ramzan Panhwar informed that device contained about five to six kilograms highly explosive material.
The SHO Qasimabad informed that defused device has been seized and will be sent to forensic laboratory. The objective of fixing of the device at the railway track was to target the passenger train, he informed and added that alleged terrorist has been nabbed from the area. APP/jvd/abd
