Bahawalpur's Sacked Employees Observe Strike

Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital's (BVH) 160 employees who had been terminated over different allegations observed their strike to press their demand for reinstatement of service.

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2018 ) :Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital's (BVH) 160 employees who had been terminated over different allegations observed their strike to press their demand for reinstatement of service.

Under the auspices of Mutahidda Minorities Mahaz Pakistan, the sacked employees staged a protest at New Islami Colony Bahawalpur. They had held banners, demanding of the government to reinstate them.

Addressing the protestors, chairman, Mutahidda Minorities Mahaz Pakistan, Naeem Essa and minority councilor, Haroon Masih said that 160 families had been suffering a lot of difficulties after the management of BVH terminated their beloved ones who had earlier been performing their service at the hospital.

"The termination of 160 employees at BVH has caused financial constraints for their families," they said. They demanded of the government to reinstate service of the sacked employees. They warned to widen their strike if their demands were not met.
