The release of The Glassworker trailer as Pakistan’s first ever hand-drawn anime feature film has given a glimpse of a tremendous work backed with creative minds and hard work. The project is lead by the Singer and animator Usman Riaz, in which the funds collected by a huge crowd have been put to work along with a conventional concept. about 1,053 people donated around $116,000 to the artist’s fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. Riaz earlier said, “Pakistan lacks a industry for hand-drawn animation but I believe that with the collaboration of Glassworker and our studios, we'll provide a base to all the artists who wants to put glitter to their art".

The upcoming film has been produced under the banner of Riaz’s brainchild, Mano Animation Studios. a young boy named Vincent is introduced as the trailer fades in. Another minor detail about the boy involves that he is acquiring skill of art of glass-blowing from his father. The film further comprises of a story in which the boy Vincent loves a girl who used to visit his father's shop daily.

The rest of the trailer consists of a narration being done by Vincent's friend Alizay while she reads a letter that she had sent to him.
