Indian agencies involved in killing of Yousuf Nadeem: Syed AliGilani

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Feb, 2018 ) :The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani in Indian Occupied Kashmir, has said that the Indian agencies are involved in the killing of Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem, a member of APHC Executive Council and Secretary General of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e Islami.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani said that the Indian secret agencies were reviving the Ikhwan culture in the Kashmir Valley. In an emergency meeting of the APHC, Syed Ali Gilani while paying glorious tributes to Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem termed it as a personnel loss for himself.

"I am deeply pained by the killing of Nadeem. I condole his demise and express my condolence to the bereaved family," he said. We are shocked over death of Yousuf Nadeem by brute hands and his untimely demise has created a void, the APHC Chairman said and added that he was a legend par excellence.

"We stand with the grieved family and we express our deep and heartfelt condolences and pray for his heavenly abode," he said. Meanwhile, on the directions of Syed Ali Gilani, the APHC organized a condolence meeting at Sindhipora in Budgam and Executive Council members including Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, Nisar Hussain Rather, Gulshan Abbas, Advocate Muhammad Shafi Rishi, Muhammad Shafi Lone, Syed Muhammad Shafi, Ghulam Muhammad Nagu, Muhammad Yasin Atai, Muhammad Yousuf Mujahid, Syed Imtiaz Haider, Peer Abdul Rasheed, Bashir Ahmed Butt, Muhammad Maqbool and several others paid rich tributes to Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem for his praiseworthy contributions for the resistance movement.

The leaders and mourners while hailing the services rendered by Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem said that he was a torch-bearer of the ongoing freedom movement. "These cowardly and brutal state sponsored tactics won't deter us from pursuing the mission, nor will these suppressive and aggressive measures will force us to surrender.

We will take our mission to its logical end and despite these killings by agencies, the resistance movement won't stop and will move ahead with its cherished mission till we achieve our goal," they added.

The APHC has called a condolence meeting of its constituent parties and other resistance organizations on Thursday (February 15) at 11 am at the residence of the slain leader. It also strongly condemned the illegal detention of Hurriyat leade4rs including Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani, Imtiyz Ahmad Shah, Abdur Rasheed Lone and Zahid Ahmed, saying that they are being subjected to brute torture in police custody at Trehgam police station in Kupwara district.

On the other hand, delegations of Anjuman Sharie Shian and other pro-freedom organizations visited the residence of the slain leader at Sundipora in Budgam and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
