FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2017 ) :Two-days primary trauma care course, under the aegis of Department of Anesthesia and Primary Trauma Care Foundation was held at Allied Hospital here Monday.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Faisalabad Medical University, Prof Dr Sardar Alfareed Zafar said that this was first course of its nature and also a good step towards training of the doctors.
He urged the need to understand basic principles of primary trauma care and implementation the same to save number of human lives in accidents.
He appreciated the efforts of Dean, Department of Anesthesia, Allied Hospital, Prof Dr Rubina Ferdous and her team for organizing the course.
Prof Dr Rubina Ferdous said that the course was a need of hour and it would improve the abilities of doctors working in emergency department. On the occasion, Chairman Primary Trauma Care Foundation, Prof Dr Saeed Minhar, General Secretary Shahab Naqvi, Dr Tariq Hayyat and Dr Shahida Tasnim provided the tips to participants about features of the course through multimedia.
