The health department has achieved 100 per cent target in a three-day polio campaign
SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2017 ) :The health department has achieved 100 per cent target in a three-day polio campaign. The campaign started in the district on Monday and 577,751 children were given polio drops.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Health Nustrat Riaz told APP on Wednesday that 1,505 teams performed duties, 104 officials of the education department, 48 of the population welfare department and 15 staffers of Civil Defense also participated.
The CEO said that elimination of polio disease was priority of the government and its desired results were achieved.
