Minister Announces Bonus For Employees Of Punjab Health Facilities Management Company

Minister P&SHD/Chairman Punjab Health Facilities Management Company (PHFMC) Kh. Imran Nazir appreciated the management of PHFMC for successful implementation of Minimum Health Service Delivery Standards (MHSDS) on 55 BHUs across 14 PHFMC districts.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2018 ) :Minister P&SHD/Chairman Punjab Health Facilities Management Company (PHFMC) Kh. Imran Nazir appreciated the management of PHFMC for successful implementation of Minimum Health Service Delivery Standards (MHSDS) on 55 BHUs across 14 PHFMC districts.

While 2 RHCs and 6 BHUs have also been ISO certified. These MHSDS/ISO certifications of such Primary Health facilities are first of its kind in the history of the Pakistan as Punjab Province always takes lead.

He stated this while presiding over a meeting of PHFMC Board, here on Wednesday. Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Ali Jan Khan, Chief Executive Officer PHFMC Muhammad Ali Amir and other members of the board attended the meeting.

Chairman PHFMC Board/Minister P&SHC Department in consultation with all others announced bonus cash reward for employees of Health Facilities which have got above certification. Further detailed are being worked out and will be announced within few days.

Khawaja Imran Nazir after due recommendation of the PHFMC Board decided in principle that salaries of the paramedics and other staff needs to be at par with government employees of equivalent rank and status in the regular health cadre, therefore, it has been decided to pay 30 percent of the differential of pay of PHFMC employee with Government Employees with effect from first May 2018 for bringing immediate relief to PHFMC Employees.

The decision of provision of rest of 70 percent differential in their pay with Government Health Sector Employee with effect from 1st of July 2018 will be taken in next PHFMC board meeting which is expected in near future.

Khawaja Imran Nazir also announced to issue entitlement letter for the free medical treatment of PHFMC employees on the analogy of Government Employees at all the Hospitals/Health Facilities presently under the P&SHC Department.

Khawaja Imran Nazir, Minister P&SHD/Chairman PHFMC Board, also approved the Health Insurance Plan for PHFMC employees. Khawaja Imran Nazir said that more incentives are under consideration for PHFMC employees.
