Health Week To Be Observed From February 19 To 24 In Faisalabad: Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2018 ) :On the directions of Punjab Government, the 2nd health week will be observed from February 19 to 24 in the district and 44 health camps will be set up at different THQ Hospitals, Rural and Basic Health Centers for the medical examination of people.
This was informed by Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani while giving briefing to the newsmen here on Friday. He informed the facilities would be provided to the people at these health camps for the test of diabetes, malaria, hepatitis, TB and other diseases besides carrying out the counseling of the patients regarding their health.
He informed that special arrangements have been made on these health camps for the medical examination of pregnant women. Giving details, the Deputy Commissioner informed that during the health week the health medical camps will work at THQ Hospitals Samanabad, Chak Jhumra, Jaranwala, Samundri and Tandlianwala, Rural Health Center at Chak No.
153/RB, Chak No.65/GB, Khurrianwala, Satiana, Chak No.134/GB, Chak No.469/GB, Mamukanjan, Kanjwani, Dijkot and Chak No.30/JB, Basic Health Units at Chak No.189/RB, 44/JB, 133/RB, 222/RB, 214/RB, 283/GB, 105/RB, 76/RB, 200/RB, 635/GB, 560/GB, 353/GB, 433/GB, 115/GB, 143/GB, 228/GB, 50/GB, 198/GB, 136/GB, 404/GB, 429/GB, 400/GB, 603/GB, 192/RB, 66/JB, 74/JB, 209/RB, 258/RB and 57/JB.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that the health camps would work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the health week and duties have been assigned to the doctors and paramedical staff for the medical checkup of the people on special desks. He informed that vaccine of hepatitis-B will also be given to the people besides vaccinating the children. APP/aar/ia/zqr
