A six-day health week was launched here on Monday during which medicare would be provided free of cost to people suffering from different diseases.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :A six-day health week was launched here on Monday during which medicare would be provided free of cost to people suffering from different diseases.
Deputy Commissioner, Nadir Chatta, opened the week at Govt Shehbaz Sharif Hospital.
During the week launched at DHQs and THQs on the directives of Punjab government, public will be tested for Hepatitis, TB, Diabetes and several other fatal diseases.
ECO District Health Authority (DHA) Dr Shahid Bokhari and MS Dr Zahid Akhtar Zaman were also present. The DC went to different counters set up for this purpose and asked about the facilities being extended there.
He said the Punjab government had injected billion of rupees in health sectors for the provision of best healthcare facilities to masses. He said that patients were receiving medicines against Hepatitis at their doorsteps.
