Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad For Revising Polio Vaccination Targets

Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Ghulam Mustafa Phull, said that the menace of Polio would soon come to end in the wake of dedication and spirit of department of health and related departments.
NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2018 ) :Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Ghulam Mustafa Phull, said that the menace of Polio would soon come to end in the wake of dedication and spirit of department of health and related departments.
Addressing a meeting of Anti Polio Divisional Task Force held here Thursday, to take a review of performance of Polio teams in previous rounds, the commissioner instructed to bring changes in Micro Plan of Polio campaign, better training of polio vaccination staff and revision of target according to population increase.
The commissioner instructed Deputy Commissioners of Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar and Naushehro Feroze to personally supervise the campaign in order to make it successful and prevent children from permanent disability.
Deputy Commissioners of all the three districts presented briefing regarding polio campaigns in their respective districts. Meeting was informed that 9,73,927 children were administered polio vaccine in the division in previous round.The meeting was attended by Additional Commissiner Imtiaz Ahmed Rajpar, Additional Commissioner Haq Nawaz Shar, DC Naushehro Feroze Dr.
Waseem Shahmshad, DC Sanghar Zhoaib Mushtaque, DC Shaheed Benazirabad Nouman Siddique Latki, District Health Officers, representatives of World Health Organization and other related officials.
