Balochistan Govt Committed To Improve Health Facilities In Province

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :Balochistan government is executing a number of projects in health sector to improve health facilities in the province. Director General Health Services Balochistan, Shakir Baloch said that one hundred Basic Health Units and thirty Rural Health Centres are being upgraded at a cost of five hundred million rupees, Radio Pakistan reported.
He said a new OPD block is being constructed at Civil Hospital Quetta at a cost of one hundred ninety-nine million rupees to meet the requirements of increasing number of patients. The Director General said construction work on building of a fifty-bed hospital in Mach area of Kachhi district is also underway with full pace, which would be completed at a cost of nearly seventy-eight million rupees.
