Anti-polio Campaign Kicks Off In City

A three days anti-polio campaign started here on Monday to administer drops to children under the age of five years
BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2017 ) :A three days anti-polio campaign started here on Monday to administer drops to children under the age of five years. According to Chief Executive Officer of District Health Authority, Dr Fayyaz Anwar 608,072 children under the age of five years would be administered anti-polio drops in the district during door-to-door campaign.
Some 1,401 teams have been constituted for the campaign which include 1,103 mobile teams, 157 fixed teams, 141 transit teams for public transport centres and markets, he said. He informed that two days have been reserved for left out children after completion of the campaign.
