SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2017 ) :The 3-day anti-polio drive will be started in the district on Monday, November 20 during which 577,751 children under five years of age will be administered polio drops.
Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha chaired a meeting to review the polio arrangements. The meeting was told that 1505 teams, out of which 1232 mobile, 194 fix and 79 transit teams have been constituted.
A control room have also been established here at DC office. A total 3274 staffers will perform duties here in which 169 Union Council MOs and 289 Area Incharges will participate while 104 officials of education department, 48 Population Welfare and 15 staffers of Civil Defense will also perform duties.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Health Dr Nusrat Riaz, President District Bar Association (DBA), Dr Sikandar Warraich and other officials of concerned departments were also present in the meeting.
