3-day polio vaccination drive from 18th

A 3-day polio vaccination drive will start from September 18 in the district, during which 577,751 children under five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops

SARGODHA, Sept 5 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Sep, 2017 ) : A 3-day polio vaccination drive will start from September 18 in the district, during which 577,751 children under five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops.

Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha talking to APP said that a total of 1480 teams had been constituted to administer vaccine to children.

The teams will comprise 1207 mobile teams, 194 fix and 79 transit teams, he added.

He further said that during campaign 169 Union Council Monitoring Officer (UCMO) and 289 Area Incharges would also perform their duties. He requested the parents to cooperate with the vaccination teams.
