PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2018 ) :District Nazim Nowshera Liaquat Khattak today inaugurated two newly rehabilitated primary schools damaged during 2010 floods in the district.

The District Nazim inaugurated Govt Girls Primary school Pushtoon Garhi and Govt Primary School Kandi Tazadeen. DG Provincial Reconstruction, Resettlement Authority (PaRRSA) Muhammad Khalid, Program Manager PaRRSA Sajid Imran, DEO Education and senior officials of the PaRRSA were present on the occasion.

The reconstruction of the flood damaged schools in various districts was underway under the auspices of PaRRSA. The DN in his address on the occasion said, no nation can progress and developed sans promotion of education.

Our top most priority is to provide best possible facilities to the children in the schools. DG PaRRSA in his address said that damaged schools are being reconstructed with face pace along with provision of furniture and for the schools and books to the students.

The government was in constant touch with the relief organizations. Spokesman for PDMA Taimur Ali sad that 48 percent work on the fiftyfive damaged schools has been completed. These schools are in process of completion in DIKhan, Malakand, Swat, Peshawar, Shangla, Dir Bala, Dir Lower, Nowshera and Charsadda.

Similarly work order for 22 more schools have been issued while 27 schools were in tendering process, the spokesman concluded.
