AIOU Academic Material Available Online

All the academic material of Allama Iqbal Open university is available online for the students. This was told by Regional Director Allama Iqbal Open University Khwaja Muhammad Sabir while addressing a workshop of tutors of Bahawalpur Region

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2017 ) :All the academic material of Allama Iqbal Open university is available online for the students. This was told by Regional Director Allama Iqbal Open University Khwaja Muhammad Sabir while addressing a workshop of tutors of Bahawalpur Region.

He told that library of Bahawalpur campus has been linked with main library of the AIOU university from where audios, videos and books in form of PDF can be accessed. He told that more than 50000 students of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Lodhran distrcits are seeking distance education from the university among which majority are female students who can continue higher education from home.

He told that 20 Study Centers have been set up by the university in Bahawalpur Region at tehsil levels while 22 Examination Centers have also been established of which two are located at Central Jail Bahawalpur and Central Jail Bahawalnagar to give opportunities to jail inmates for getting education.
