BISE Organizes Awards Distribution Ceremony For Position Holders

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sargodha organized an award distribution ceremony for the position holders of Intermediate part-II annual examinations 2017 here on Tuesday

SARGODHA, Sept 12 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2017 ) : The board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Sargodha organized an award distribution ceremony for the position holders of Intermediate part-II annual examinations 2017 here on Tuesday.

Provincial Minister Environment Zakia Shahnawaz was the chief guest of the event while Chairman BISE Sargodha, Prof Siraj-ul-Haq, Controller Examinations Liaqat Ali Naveed and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

Overall 41507 candidates including 19466 male and 22041 female candidates appeared in the examinations held in May this year. A total of 25,133 candidates were declared successful, showing 60.55 pass percentage.

The Minister distributed medals and other prizes among the position holders. The first position was secured by Muneeba Amin, by securing 1042 marks, second position was achieved by Muhammad Safi Ullah by securing 1038 marks while the third position was achieved by Aisha Nofel by securing 1037 marks.

Zakia Shahnawaz said that position holder students were precious asset and future of the nation. There is no dearth of talent and potential in youth which was evident from the facts, she added.

Our youth only need encouragement and fulfilment of their requirements, she said and added that Punjab CM had made available all resources and basic facilities to new generation by upholding merit.
