Tokyo stocks closed higher on Wednesday, tracking rallies on Wall Street and in line with advances in other Asian markets, but rises were weighed by profit-taking ahead of a national holiday
Tokyo, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2017 ) :Tokyo stocks closed higher on Wednesday, tracking rallies on Wall Street and in line with advances in other Asian markets, but rises were weighed by profit-taking ahead of a national holiday.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index gained 0.48 percent, or 106.67 points, to 22,523.15. The broader Topix index was up 0.34 percent, or 5.95 points, at 1,777.08.
