SCCI Elections On Sept 21-22

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Sep, 2016 ) : Electioneering for annual elections of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is under way, which will be held on september 21-22.

According to SCCI President Maj (R) Mansur Ahmed, the annual SCCI elections of Corporate Class will be held on September 21, and the elections of Associate Class will be held on September 22. SCCI ruling group, Ittehad Founders, has fielded Abid Ahmed Khawaja, Rana Naseer Ahmed, Muhammad Ibrahim, Abdul Waheed and Ibrar Yaqub Sheikh as its candidates against rival Democratic Founders group's candidates Syed Muntazir Abbas, Ashfaq Ahmed, Faisal Jamshaid Malik, Asad Siddique and Sohail Akbar Awan.

For the Associate Class, the Democratic Founders has fielded seven candidates - Mirza Ayaz Baig, Muhammad Tahir Siddique, Sabir Hussain, Chaudhry Salman Iqbal, Khwaja Zia-Ullah, Rehan Bin Tahir Mughal and Muhammad Iqbal Asad against ruling Ittehad Founders' five candidates -- Zahid Latif Malik, Danish Abid, Muhammad Ejaz Ghauri, Muhammad Akhtar and Zaeem Raza.
