Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Monday closed at 3,184 points, with the traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 5.407 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,991
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Feb, 2018 ) :Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Monday closed at 3,184 points, with the traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 5.407 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,991.
The major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to Rs1.790 billion, followed by gold Rs1.
666 billion, currencies through COTS Rs544.791 million, DJ Rs 450.880 million, silver Rs 352.808 million, platinum Rs260.458 million, NSDQ100 Rs212.371 million and SP500 Rs53.798 million copper, says PMEX statement on Tuesday.
Rs39.454 million, Brent crude oil Rs21.300 million and natural gas Rs15.357 million. In agricultural commodities, 11 lots of cotton amounting to Rs4.673 million were traded.
