KP Govt Spending Over Rs15 Bln On Hydro Power Projects

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government is spending more than fifteen billion rupees on construction of various hydro power projects
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2018 ) :In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government is spending more than fifteen billion rupees on construction of various hydro power projects.
According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization told that two hundred and fifty hydropower projects had been completed.
While one hundred and six hydro power projects are underway which will be completed within next two months.
These projects are being constructed in Hazara and Malakand divisions which after completion will generate forty megawatt electricity.
