Industrial Units Asked To Pay Salaries Through Schedule Banks

The Directorate of Labour, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed the owners of all industrial units that the provincial government had notified the fixation of the monthly salaries of labourers at Rs.15000/- per month from July 1, 2017
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2017 ) :The Directorate of Labour, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed the owners of all industrial units that the provincial government had notified the fixation of the monthly salaries of labourers at Rs.15000/- per month from July 1, 2017.
Furthermore, according to Section 6 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Payment of Wages Act, 2013 all industrial organizations are bound for the payment of the monthly salary through schedule banks. In a press release issued by the Labour Department here Wednesday, the provincial government has directed all industrial organizations to from November 2017 ensured that the payment of salaries to labourers through schedule banks.
After December 2017 the provincial government will initiate legal action against those violators of the directives.
