Hong Kong stocks up by break

HONG KONG, , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2017 ) - Hong Kong stocks bounced back from an initial sell-off to end the morning slightly higher Monday, though gains were limited as investors await a key speech by Donald Trump later in the day.

The Hang Seng Index edged up 11.62 points to 23,977.32. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.27 percent, or 8.72 points, to 3,244.71 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was barely changed, inching up 0.04 points to 2,000.42.
