62 percent, or 185.42 points, to close at 30,003.49 -- its highest since November 2007. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.59 percent, or 19.96 points, to 3,430.46 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.26 percent, or 5.17 points, to 1,982.28.
