Football Exports Earn Over $37.8mln In Three Months

Pakistan earns US$37.808 million from the exports of footballs during the first quarter of the current fiscal year, showing an increase of 8.53 percent when compared with the trade of the product during the same period of last year
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Nov, 2017 ) :Pakistan earns US$37.808 million from the exports of footballs during the first quarter of the current fiscal year, showing an increase of 8.53 percent when compared with the trade of the product during the same period of last year.
During the same period of the last fiscal year, the country earned $34,837 million by exporting foot balls, according to the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). In terms of quantity, the football exports increased by 19.91 percent during July-September (2017-18) compared to the exports of July-September (2016-17).
As many as 771 footballs were exported from the country during first quarter of the current year compared to the exports of $643 during last year.
Meanwhile, on year-on-year basis, the football exports from the country increased by 18.74 percent during September 2017 compared to the corresponding period of last year.
The football exports during September 2017 were recorded at $12.296 million compared to the exports of $7.830 million in September 2016. On month-on-month basis, the football exports from the country however, witnessed decreased 14.53 percent during September 2017 when compare d to the export of $14.386 million during August 2016, the data revealed.
