QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Local Goverment and Rural Development Haji Mir Ghulam Dastagir Khan Badeni said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project was a game changer for economic development of the country and sign of prosperity for the entire region.

Talking to APP on Thursday, he said entire country, especially the people of Balochistan would take benefits from that project while people related to transportation sector could get maximum benefit from the mega project.

"Gwadar Port is backbone of CPEC and it will increase the business opportunities as well as volume of trade", he added. He said development in his constituency "Nushki" had always been his first priority, saying that he would continue his services for the people and betterment of province.

Badeni said if he was reelected in general election 2018, his first task would be to change Nushki into a modern industrialized town. The minister said incumbent government was taking exemplary measures to ensure provision of education in respective areas of the province.

It was also responsibility of teachers to play their professional role for improving quality of education in the respective areas, he added. He said present government had allocated a large amount of funds for education and clean water, to provide basic facilities to masses in Balochistan, saying that especially schools and colleges in every district would be established for better education.

"New establishment of Universities and medical colleges were also given special attention", he added. Badeni said Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo was making efforts for the prosperity in the province, and added that the budget presented by incumbent government was historic.

He said collective projects were promoted and funds had been provided to each district on equality. He said with the completion of CPEC project Pak-China bilateral ties would be strengthened further.
