44 Exporters To Get FPCCI Export Trophy

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will award 'Exprot Trophy' to top 44 exporters of the country
ISLAMABAD, Oct 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Oct, 2017 ) : Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will award 'Exprot Trophy' to top 44 exporters of the country. The ceremony of 5th Export Trophy Awards will be held on October 4 ( Wednesday) at Karachi to confer awards to the leading exporters of Pakistan in different sectors.
The top exporters of beverages, carpets, cement, confectionary, metal, dairy products, chemicals, engineering products, fertilizers, foods and fruits will be given the awards. Leading exporters of furniture, jewelry, hosiery, leather, pharmaceutical, paper, paints, rice, scrap, soaps, sports equipment, surgical instruments and vegetables would also be awarded with the export trophy award.
The exporters of waste products, wood and textiles along with services sector including airline, logistics, insurance, banking and information technology would also be awarded by the expo trophy.
Minister for Commerce and Textile Muhammad Pervaiz Malik will be chief guest at the occasion. In a statement FPCCI President Zubair Tufail said that FPCCI has always played an encouraging role for promotion of trade and industry in the country besides guarding the interests of the business community.
He said exports play a very important role in keeping the economy stable and stressed the need for facilitating the sector. Vice President SAARC Chamber and Chairman United Business Group (UBG) Iftikhar Ali Malik said FPCCI Export Awards are considered highly prestigious at home and abroad .
He urged the government to revisit and negotiate a new and the existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Preferential Trade Agreements (PTAs) signed with different countries for enhancing exports.
