Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 02 يوليو 2025ء) The move aims to unify and simplify regulatory procedures and enable clubs in the Roshn Saudi League to meet all requirements related to financial regulations. It ensures clarity of roles, expedites processes, and enhances the institutional performance of clubs, particularly regarding financial obligations and the development of management systems in a professional manner.
Additionally, the ministry announced the continuation of the work of the committee for financial efficiency under a new operational framework. This will include clubs of the Roshn league, covering various sports except football, and clubs in the First Division League (Yelo League) across all their sports activities. The new framework aims to reinforce financial governance principles and achieve financial balance and stability within the clubs.
To support financial sustainability in the sports sector, the Ministry of Sport launched a project to enhance the clubs’ financial performance. Starting from the 2025-2026 sports season, the project will monitor the financial status of 16 clubs in the Yelo League and 32 clubs in the Second Division, along with the four clubs relegated to the Third Division for the 2024-2025 season, plus one additional club already in that division.
The project will track the implementation of approved budgets, control operational expenses, and rationalize spending to help minimize future financial obligations. It aims to strengthen the clubs' capacity to achieve financial stability and sustainable development in a more professional environment.
The new measures are part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance financial stability and elevate administrative efficiency by implementing best practices and professional standards in financial governance.
