Washington, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 20 يونيو 2025ء) In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Hallab emphasized that both nations are actively leveraging sports as an effective tool to deepen cultural understanding, stimulate investment partnerships, and achieve comprehensive development.
He said that Saudi Arabia’s previous hosting of the Club World Cup and its upcoming hosting of the FIFA World Cup 2034, along with the United States’ hosting of the Club World Cup 2025 and the FIFA World Cup 2026, underscore both countries’ commitment to harnessing sports as a platform for economic growth and expanding international cooperation. Hallab added that the council plays a pivotal role in supporting this trend through its "Quality of Life" initiative.
He noted that the council recently organized a dialogue session during the Saudi-US Investment Forum 2025 in Riyadh, which explored partnership opportunities in sports, tourism, culture, and entertainment, all crucial pillars of Saudi Vision 2030. He further emphasized that the council’s Strategic Partnership Center continues to collaborate with government agencies and the private sector in both countries to develop sports and investment initiatives, asserting that sports now represent a powerful economic lever and an opportunity to project the Kingdom’s modern image on the global stage.
