Jeddah, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 13 يونيو 2025ء) The achievement is part of the center’s broader efforts during the season, including the issuance of 39,000 weather bulletins to assist agencies managing crowds and serving pilgrims, all aimed at ensuring a safe and secure climate throughout the pilgrimage.
NCM conducted three specialized field research studies during the season, involving over 25 researchers and specialists, to monitor microclimate changes, enhance forecasting technologies, and assess the impact of weather conditions on the environment and public health in the holy sites. Additionally, artificial intelligence was applied to improve the accuracy of numerical weather models.
The center stated that the efforts were implemented as part of a comprehensive operational plan developed in advance, in coordination with concerned entities. The initiative included awareness campaigns and field outreach programs conducted at the Grand Mosque, the holy sites, and Haramain High-Speed Railway stations, with the support of NCM’s partners in various service sectors.
NCM reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining public safety according to the highest standards of quality and integration, in alignment with the aspirations of the Kingdom’s leadership to serve pilgrims and achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
