He lauded their vital roles across all supervised sites and facilities, noting that serving the pilgrims is a profound honor and responsibility.
He reviewed the SFDA's initiatives to apply the highest regulatory standards, incorporating modern technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) for monitoring factories and warehouses to ensure product quality throughout Hajj. His tour included the SFDA’s Hajj Operations Center in Makkah, where he was briefed on interagency coordination, performance monitoring, and support for field inspection teams now equipped with advanced tools, including body-worn cameras for documentation.
He visited the SFDA's regulatory zone site within the holy sites, a Primary base for deploying regulatory field teams. Staff demonstrated procedures for collecting food samples for laboratory verification and showcased advanced digital systems used for this purpose.
Dr. Aljadhey met at the Emergency Hospital in Mina with Public Health Authority CEO Dr. Abdullah bin Rashoud Al-Algwizani. Their discussion underscored the ongoing collaboration between the two authorities to bolster pilgrim safety and health.
The tour concluded with a visit to the National Health Emergency and Crisis Management Center, where Dr. Aljadhey was briefed on proactive efforts by government entities. He emphasized the center's crucial role in public health and the need to strengthen regulatory integration and coordination among all stakeholders.
Throughout the visits, SFDA teams demonstrated smart analytical tools and digital regulatory technologies, part of an interactive, AI-powered oversight system designed to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the SFDA's public health and safety objectives during the Hajj season.
