Davos, January (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 24 كانون الثاني 2025ء) His remark came today during his speech at the dialogue session held by the GCC General Secretariat under the title "Economic Diversification and its Impact on Sustainability: the Role of the GCC in Global Economic Growth," in the Swiss city of Davos.
The event was held on the sidelines of the 55th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF). GCC ministers of economy and finance participated in the session, in the presence of senior economic officials, experts, and businessmen from various countries.
Al-Budaiwi explained in his speech that the GCC, despite the challenges it faces, remains committed to peace, respect for international law, and striving to achieve sustainable development for the benefit of future generations.
The GCC secretary-general highlighted the GCC establishment and objectives, reviewing the most prominent economic stages it has experienced, stressing that the council countries continue to work together to achieve full economic integration in accordance with the Gulf Economic Agreement that defines the mechanisms for achieving this integration.
