Islamabad, January (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 11 كانون الثاني 2025ء) In a speech, he stressed the importance of cooperation between OIC member states in the vital fields of science and technology to overcome the key challenges facing the Islamic world and praised COMSTECH's exceptional contributions to these fields.
He explained that COMSTECH empowers individuals and societies through pioneering initiatives, urging all member states to support these programs and actively participate in them.
The OIC secretary-general launched the Science and Technology Advancement Initiative for COMSTECH experts to enhance self-reliance in technology, promote sustainable development, and mitigate brain drain within OIC member states.
The initiative also aims to mobilize expertise from across the Islamic world to address pressing challenges in healthcare, agriculture, energy, and education and to embody cooperation and mutual progress among OIC member states.
