Poor security arrangements at PM Imran’s Bani Gala residence raises concern

The military secretary of the prime minster has written a letter to police and district administration in this regard.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 1st May, 2019) Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Bani Gala residence is said to have poor security arrangements.

The military secretary of the prime minster has written a letter to police and district administration in this regard.

Expressing his reservations, the military secretary said that there is no route available for the prime minister’s exit from camp office, adding that fence is weak and tower lights are missing.

Moreover, the emergency exit from Bani Gala also does not exist. The letter asked the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to find an exit route and work on it.

The letter further stated the Murree Road leading to Bani Gala has no street lights so aerial checking of the route remains impossible.

The military secretary pointed that the fence around Bani Gala is so weak that it can be easily broken.

He suggested that the safe city project must be extended to Bani Gala. He further suggested installing an electronic machine for checking purposes after consultation with Intelligence Bureau.

He also demanded to place a bullet proof glass at the camp office of the prime minister.
