Hamza comes down hard on NAB for surrounding house of his sister
The Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly says the NAB was acting under the direction of PM Khan and politically victimizing his family
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 13th April 2019) PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz has come down hard on NAB for ‘surrounding the house of his sister in Model Town.’
He addressed a press conference soon after the ‘incident’ and said all was being done on the direction of ‘Niazi’, the prime minister of Pakistan.
He narrated all his account that how NAB DG Lahore called him in his office and asked to negotiate with the government as the accountability watchdog was just obeying the order of the PM. He said it was happening first time in Pakistan that respects of daughters, sisters and mothers were at stake in the era of PTI.
“Why NAB was acting so desperately when they failed to prove anything against Shehbaz Sharif and I’m on bail,” he questioned, asked the people to notice everything that was going on in this country.
He said he was just narrating the incidents and putting them before the people not as a political worker but just an ordinary citizen of Pakistan.
He said he was not worried about NAB notices but about the economy which was passing through the worst situation. He said the growth rate had reduced to 2.9 from 5.8 percent of the PML-N tenure. Similarly, he said, US Dollar witnesses a historic decline of 35 percent in just a few months.
He said the people must keenly observe what was going on in the name of accountability under the PTI government.
