PML-N canceled March 23 rally due to fear of thin attendance: Fawad Ch

Information Minister says PML-N and PPP lost their support in public.

LAHORE- Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that PML-N took back the protest call for 23rd March because people are not willing to participate in it.

Talking to a local tv, he said that PML-N and PPP had lost their support in public and now they were only playing politics of non-issues.

The PML-N social media wing has announced a rally in solidarity with its jailed leader Nawaz Sharif on March 23 but it later took back the call.

Fawad said the PML-N was unable to bring people at roads because they have no roots in masses.

He claimed that PML-N only held public meetings when it came into power. The former ruling party, he said, had used government machinery and government employees to fill the place of meetings.

The information minister condemned the attack in New Zealand mosques and highlighted the need for strict action against the mindset.
