"The Prime Minister has welcomed the start of Panama Papers' proceedings and PTI leadership should also reciprocate the same by withdrawing their shutdown Islamabad call on Nov 2" he explained.

"The issue of Panama Papers has now been brought before the Election Commission, Lahore High Court and the Supreme Court and protest demonstrations by PTI during the process of proceedings would be tantamount on influencing on courts and ECP," he explained.

He said PTI had started a legal process before the Supreme Court however, if it locked down Islamabad then it might not be possible for Supreme Court and Election Commission to hear petitions filed before them.

Nalota said PTI Chief Imran Khan had raised serious allegations on the credibility and transparency on last general elections but the Supreme Court had rejected all the allegations of PTI about rigging in the general elections.

He said PTI was promoting negative politics and staging protests to create hurdle in the progress and development of the country, saying closing down Islamabad through violent means would create anarchy and destabilization besides sending a wrong message to abroad and may affect investment.

He said violent protests, attack on SSP Islamabad and ptv Islamabad by the PTI workers during 2014 sit-in were still in peoples' mind. Nalota said PTI wanted tailor made TORs just to target Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and to save Imran Khan and PTI leaders from accountability.

"If Terms of References (TORs) proposed by PTI were accepted, then PTI senior leadership could not be held accountable, he asserted. "The government had offered all platforms for investigation into Panama Leaks but PTI avoided all of them," he added.

He said Imran Khan had lust for power and he knew that if the democratic system continued then PMLN would again win elections in 2018 on the basis of its record development work.
