Man in Punjab Police uniform protests uniquely against Nawaz Sharif in London

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 10th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) supremo Nawaz Sharif is in London with his daughter Maryam Nawaz. The two have announced to return to the country on July 13.

However, their short stay at London also does not seem easy for the PMLN leaders as a man protested against Nawaz Sharif in London wearing Punjab Police uniform.

The man dressed in Punjab Police uniform went to Nawaz Sharif’s residence. The man said that this is Nawaz Sharif’s house and we have reports that two criminals and three proclaimed offenders are hiding here so Punjab Police has come to arrest them.

The man said that they should leave for Pakistan before Friday. They made London flats with the money of the poor. Other people present over there also protested against the former prime minister.

The Accountability Court had announced its verdict in the Avenfield Reference against ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (r) Safdar on Friday.

According to the verdict, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been sentenced to jail for 10 years, his daughter Maryam Nawaz for seven years and Maryam's husband Capt (r) Safdar for one year. Moreover, Nawaz Sharif has been fined £8 million in the case while Maryam Nawaz has been fined £2 million. The London flats will also be confiscated, according to the verdict.

The PMLN has begun preparations to welcome former prime minister and his daughter Maryam Nawaz as they will return to the country on July 13.

According to PMLN sources, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz will reach Lahore at 6:15pm on Friday via Ittehad Airline flight.

The security agencies have also geared up preparations in view of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam’s arrival to Lahore.
