PM Taking Keen Interest In FATA Reforms: Maiza

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Feb, 2017 ) : Member National Assembly of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Maiza Hameed Saturday said that Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif took initiatives to resolve issues of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and a reforms committee had been working in this regard.
Talking to ptv, she said the proactive step taken by the PML-N government was part of its agenda to give due rights to the people of FATA. She said the Prime Minister was taking keen interest to provide equal rights to neglected areas of country including FATA.
MNA said the government wanted to resolve issues of tribal area after developing consensus among political parties. She said, like other national issues, the government would take all political parties on-board on FATA reforms.
Maiza Hameed said the government had allocated big amount in National Finance Commission award (NFC) for FATA reforms while other development schemes were also announced for up-lift of the area.
