Five Tourists Drown In River Kunhar

BALAKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2017 ) : Five tourists drowned and one critically injured when a car of tourists fell into River Kunhar at Mahandri on Friday, police informed. Four members of a tourist family drowned when their car fell into River Kunhar.
The family of six was coming back after visiting Kaghan-Naran in their car Suzuki Cultus No.
2210. The sixth family member survived the incident. The ill fated victims were identified as Muhammad Shafique, Muhammad Nadeem, Muhammad Arsalan, Muhammad Haneef and Hussain.
The family belonged to district Norowal Bahawalpur. Families of the victims were travelling in a separate car. Rescue workers have launched search operation to retrieve the bodies of the victims.
