European stock markets waver at open

LONDON, , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2017 ) - Europe's main stock markets were little changed at the open on Tuesday, but subsequently slipped lower with corporate earnings in the spotlight.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index opened up 0.23 percent at 7,316.

30 points, but subsequently fell back to show a loss of around 0.3 percent. In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 opened nearly 0.1 percent lower at 11,817.97 points. And the Paris CAC 40 was little changed at 4,865.89 points at the open, but quickly slipped back to show a loss of 0.2 percent compared with Monday's close.
